Basic school

EISJ  offers education until Grade XII. The priority at basic level is to enhance the overall academic performance of  students, in the process of preparing them for higher level education.

The prime objectives of this level are:

  • To develop basic knowledge and skill of languages, namely English, Nepalese and Japanese languages.
  • To develop basic knowledge and creative attitude towards core subjects like Mathematics and Science.
  • To develop creative and expressive skills.

With the aforementioned objectives in perspective, the core subject structure of our curriculum includes English, Science, Mathematics, Social Studies and Computer. Nepalese language is taught as a mandatory course while the Japanese language is taught on a part time basis. In order to make studies at EISJ compatible with a national and international context, an appropriate balance of teaching materials is maintained through the use of both internationally and domestically published textbooks.
